Raymond Darren Owens was born July 6, 1965, in Conroe, Texas, to parents, Raymond Owens and Coteil McShan Owens. He passed away Jan. 17, 2025 in Cleveland, Texas, at the age of 59 years.
Darren had a passion for working on old trucks. He loved all animals especially dogs. Darren was a simple man, easy to please and his main goal in life was for everyone to be happy.
Darren was currently working for Montgomery County Commissioner Pct. 4 and was a former propane service and delivery man. He loved children and worked very hard to provide for his family. Darren will be greatly missed by everyone.
Darren was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Coteil Owens; brother, Raymond Michael Owens; and nephew, Steven Michael Owens. He is survived by his beloved son, Patrick Owens and wife Lauren; brother, Steve Owens and wife Regina; grandchildren, Kodie Owens, Joshua Blevins, Kencington Blevins, Justus Hickman, Layla Alderete and Emery Alderete; nieces, Kayla Fuller and Krystle Hardy; great-nephews, Steven, Trinton, Tyler, Brennen, Mason, and Cullen.
Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at Morgan Cemetery with Jamie Metts and Ronnie Hales officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be, Steven Fuller, Trinton Fuller, Brennen Hardy, Loren Hardy, Noah Alberth, and Javier Martinez.
