Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a documented gang member on Feb. 15 in connection with a harassment case.
Deputies with the District 4 Patrol Division, with assistance from the Gang Investigation Unit, took Edwin Villata Ayala, 35, of Pinehurst into custody.
Ayala was wanted on a harassment warrant out of Montgomery County after allegedly following a female victim multiple times over the past several months.
Ayala was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he remains held on a $5,000 bond and a detainer with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
