Denise Lynn Bateman Tarantino was born Sept. 21, 1955, in Parsons, Kansas, to parents, Jack Arlan Bateman and Phyllis Sue Cowden Bateman. She passed away in Cleveland, Texas on Feb. 18, 2025, at the age of 69 years. Denise has lived in the Cleveland area for over 35 years and she retired from Walmart in May of 2024 after 21 years of service. Denise loved her animals, plants, family and friends very much and will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her.
Denise was preceded in death by her father, Jack Arlan Bateman in 1994; her husband, Tony Tarantino Sr. in 2018. She is survived by her beloved mother, Phyllis Sue Bateman; brother, Craig Bateman and wife Sara; nephew, David Bateman; niece, Kristen Graziano; stepson, Tony Tarantino Jr; stepdaughter, Annabelle Tarantino; best friend, Loretta Hoch and her children, Krystle Garrison and Corey McDonald, Cody Warden, and Taylor Warden.
