Brandon Keldrick Percy

Brandon Keldrick Percy was born on Jan. 19, 1971, in Liberty, Texas, to the late Ruby Lee Bradley and was lovingly raised by his stepfather, the late Free Golia Bradley. He peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family.

Brandon attended Liberty High School, where he was an active member of the football team, leaving a lasting impression throughout his years there. He graduated with the class of 1990. In 1994, Brandon stepped into fatherhood with the birth of his handsome son, Key’Lon Percy. Brandon later met his soulmate, Anastacia Jones, and together they built a lifelong bond. They were blessed with two wonderful sons, Joshuah Andrew Percy and Adam Jonte’ Percy.

Brandon’s career began at Quikrete in Raywood, Texas, where he dedicated many years of service. Over the years, he worked at various places but ultimately followed his true passion for working with horses, concluding his career as a Ranch Hand at Doguet Turf Farm.

Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Bradley; stepfather, Free Golia Bradley; bonus brother, George Bradley; grandmother, Mary Percy; two aunts, Evelyn Jackson and Joyce Jackson; and uncle, Donald Percy.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, including his wife, Anastacia Jones; his children, Key’Lon R. Percy, Joshuah A. Percy (Tyra), and Adam J. Percy (Kayla); bonus brothers, Ivan Redmon (Zora) and Roland Redmon (Cassandra); his two sisters, Shamarian Lister (Delvin) and LaToya Turner (JaCarole); uncle, Melvin Percy (Donna); aunt, Cleo Scott; a loving mother-n-law, Pam Walker, as well as four beloved grandchildren, Avril Holder, Charlee Percy, Carsyn Percy, and Taelyn Percy. He is also remembered by his Godbrother, Shannon Braxton, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and his faithful dog, Bella. Brandon shared a close bond with his cousins, Dean, John, and Toby, growing up together like siblings. His sisters, Shamarian and LaToya, were also an essential part of their tight-knit circle. He will be deeply missed by them all.

Brandon will forever be remembered for his heart of gold, his unwavering commitment to helping others, and for being the life of the party. His legacy of kindness, joy, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Services for Brandon Percy will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home, located at 734 FM 1942, Crosby, Texas, 77532. The viewing will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.
