Martha Jane Armour was born Oct. 15, 1951, in Louisville, Ky., to parents, John William Bracksieck and Mary Helen Dillon Bracksieck. She passed away in Houston, Texas on March 13, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Martha was a retired reservation agent for United Airlines and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Armour; brother, John Bracksieck; sister, Alice Bracksieck. Martha is survived by her beloved children, Benjamin Armour and wife Cecilia, Aaron Armour and wife Kim, John Armour and wife Laurie, Christine Armour, Jennifer Armour, Annie Armour, and Martha Cordova and husband Abinadi; grandchildren, Chanel, Alison and husband Austin, Katelynn, Kyle and wife Julia, Matthew, Alessandra, Rusty, Ashley, Rachael, Nathaniel, Haley, Emily, Michael, Victoria, Evangelina, John Jr., Douglas, Josiah, and Samuel; siblings, Ann Schupp and husband Ferd, Louis Bracksieck, Mary Catharine Engley and husband Peter, Ruth Smith, and Albert Bracksieck and wife Suzanne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9:30-11 a.m., in the parlor at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cleveland, Texas. Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. with Bishop Ryan Dahlberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be, Aaron Armour, Benjamin Armour, John Armour, Abinadi Cordova, Chris Soper, and Kyle Armour.
