
The 2025 Major Stock Show season is winding down, and the Liberty FFA chapter has had an outstanding year.
American Heifers were exhibited in Wave 1. In the Beefmaster division, Kaden Stevens placed sixth in a deep class. Nate Stoesser placed fifth in class, and Wes Stoesser was 11th in another competitive class. Payton Hanson exhibited her ARB heifer and placed eighth in class.
Brangus cattle were shown by Hallie Etheridge, who placed 11th, and by Keyli Scroggins and Savannah Hanson, who each placed ninth in their respective classes. Madison Parker won her class with her Red Brahman heifer and went on to be named Reserve Division Champion.
In the Santa Gertrudis division, Fiona Joseph placed third in class, and Landon Williamson placed 11th. Grey Brahman cattle were shown by Wyatt Parker, who placed fifth in class, and Cameron Ripkowski, who placed first and was named Grand Champion of the Heifer Calf Division.
Jessie Riojas kicked off the exotic wave, placing fourth in class. Tristen Purswell exhibited her ORB heifer and also placed fourth. Emma Wiggins placed sixth with her Chianina heifer. Makenna Fregia was unable to show, as her heifer calved the morning of the competition.

The season concluded with the Ag Mechanics Show, where the team of Justin Butler, Cristian Franco, and Jesus Hernandez earned a blue ribbon at the Houston Livestock Show for their 16-foot lowboy trailer.
The 2025 Texas Major Show season has officially ended for the Liberty FFA breeding heifer show team. Congratulations on all the accomplishments this season. Good luck to all Liberty FFA showmen at the upcoming Cleveland Livestock Show, to be held March 31–April 5, 2025, at the Stancil Park Arena in Cleveland, Texas.
