Juan Jose Munoz Gonzalez, 64, of Hankamer, Texas, passed March 25, 2025.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Proctor’s Mortuary 518 Miller St. Anahuac, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held 12 Noon on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church 2207 S. Main St. Anahuac, Texas. Interment will be in Anahuac Cemetery Anahuac, Texas.
Juan Jose Munoz, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away March 25, 2025, at the age of 64 in Baytown, Texas.
He was born in Concepcion Del Oro Zacatecas, Mexico to Marcos Munoz and Francisca Gonzalez. He was raised in Ejido El Moral, Coahuila and a lifetime resident of Anahuac, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Emmanuel Gutierrez.
Juan is survived by his wife of 36 years, Petra Munoz and 8 children; Miguel Munoz, Juan Munoz (Griselda) Marisol, Gutierrez(Javier), Claudia Chavez(Juan), Francisco Gutierrez, Gabriella Gutierrez, Amalia Zavala(Eduardo) and 13 grandchildren, Cesar and Jonathan Zavala, Selena, Raul Jr and Jesus Morua, Francisco Gutierrez Jr, Claudia Itzel Cabrera(Alberto)Emmanuel Jr, Omar and Sarah Gutierrez, Juanita Soria, Abundio (AJ) and Abigail Munoz and one great grandchild Arianna Cabrera, a special niece and nephew Francisco & Monica Balderas. He is also survived by 6 sisters (Irma, Teresa, Hipolita, Fidencia, San Juana & Irene) and 4 brothers (Nicanor, Leobardo, Jorge & Bonifacio) and numerous nieces and nephews.
