On Saturday, March 29, the streets of downtown Cleveland were alive with the sights and sounds of the annual Cleveland Livestock Show and Dairy Day rodeo parade.
A beloved community tradition, the parade featured an array of local groups and participants, including the Cleveland High School Royal Braves Marching Band, rodeo queen contestants, horseback riders, and area organizations—all celebrating the spirit of Cleveland’s agricultural roots.
The parade served as the kickoff to a weeklong celebration of youth achievement in agriculture, welding, home economics, and livestock management. Events are taking place daily at the Stancil Exposition Center, 211 Peach Ave., Cleveland, with everything from rabbit shows and vendor markets to ag mechanics and breeding contests.

On Monday, March 31, the festivities began early with the welding competition and the Market Broiler Show. The Home Economics judging, rabbit competitions, and vendor move-ins continue throughout the day. By Tuesday, April 1, the grounds will be bustling with activity, including goat and lamb shows, swine check-ins, and the public opening of vendor booths.
On Wednesday, April 2, there will be the Pen of Heifer Show, Breeding Beef competitions, and the Market Swine Show in the evening. On Thursday, April 3, the momentum continues with the Breeding Swine and Ag Mechanics Shows, followed by the Commercial Heifer and Market Steer Shows.

The highlight of the week—the Youth Auction—is set for Friday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Stancil Exposition Center. A Buyer’s Appreciation Dinner will take place beforehand from 4 to 6 p.m., and community members are strongly encouraged to come out and support local youth. These young participants have dedicated months of hard work to raising and preparing their animals and projects, and the auction is a crucial opportunity for them to be rewarded for their efforts.
The week will wrap up with the Freezer Sale on Saturday morning, April 5, starting at 10 a.m. This event is also open to the public.

Is there some reason you decided to not post one picture of “The All-Around Cowgirls Equestrian Drill Team” that not only rode in the parade, but performed at both nights of the Rodeo and included the outgoing Queen and girls for the 2025 court? The horse pictures I see here very limited to specific groups!
