Aaden Christopher Pifer, 10, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Though his time with us was far too short, Aaden’s vibrant spirit left an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew and loved him.
Born on July 20, 2014, in Austin, Texas, to his loving mother Alexandra Burger, who selflessly chose to give him the life he deserved. He was graciously adopted by the entire loving Pifer family. He was a proud 5th grader at Kimmie M. Brown Elementary School in Dayton, Texas, and part of the Dayton ISD Class of 2032.
Aaden was a light in every room—talkative, energetic, endlessly empathetic, and full of life. A self-proclaimed “little smart ass” with a heart of gold, he was caring, generous, deeply compassionate, and incredibly wise beyond his years. His sensitive soul was paired with sharp intelligence, fierce athleticism, and a spiritual nature that added depth to his young but powerful presence.
He loved tearing around the house on his dirt bike and go-kart with his dad, casting lines while fishing, going on road trips, and jamming out at concerts or wrestling matches with his devoted dad and brothers. Aaden was also an avid gamer who could often be found deep into Roblox or Minecraft. His love for music showed in his frequent bursts of singing and dancing, usually accompanied by a big smile or a well-timed joke.
Family meant the world to Aaden. He was deeply connected to each one of his loved ones and never missed a chance to show it. He dreamed big, his ultimate goal was to become a famous YouTuber so he could “make millions and retire his mom.”
Aaden is preceded in death by Grandma Pifer, Grandma Johnson, Grandma Carter, Uncle Steve, Uncle Don, and his beloved dog Chevy. He is survived by his pops, Randy Pifer; his mom, Janell Pifer; his dad and his absolute best friend and the second pea to his pod, Jeff Pifer; ; his brothers, Darrel Lincoln (Brittany), Garry Nelson (Andrea), Robert Pifer (Samadhi), and Steven Hafford (Bree); and his grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Brown. He also leaves behind his adored nieces and nephews: Ceaser, Emmalynn, DJ, Kai, Paisley, and Noelle; and an adored sister, Bella. Aaden’s joyful spirit will also be missed by his many cousins: Ryleigh, Addi, Archer, Brody, Cass, Wyatt, Addi, Legend, Aubrey, and Elena. And of course, by his beloved and amazing best friends: Felix, Kennah, and Zoey.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2025, beginning at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St., Dayton, Texas. A celebration of Aaden’s incredible life will begin at 4 p.m.
Aaden was a once-in-a-lifetime soul—full of laughter, love, and light. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
