Lisa Elaine Ivy

Lisa Elaine Ivy, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 13, 2025, in Webster, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity. Born on January 20, 1965, Lisa’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She was not only a devoted family member but a beacon of light, her laughter lighting up the room and spreading contagious joy to those around her.

Lisa had a passion for cooking that was evident in her creative culinary endeavors. She had a special fondness for steamed potatoes and lemon rice, dishes she often prepared with care for her family and friends. Her baking skills were remarkable, as she played a crucial role in some of her family’s most cherished celebrations by baking wedding cakes and numerous loaf cakes for various fundraisers, always lending her talents to support her community.

A woman of many interests, Lisa was known for her adventurous spirit. She loved nothing more than to fish, tan under the warm sun, and dance with her children and grandchildren, creating beautiful memories that will forever be treasured. Her hobbies included doll collecting, a pastime that reflected her nurturing and dedicated character. She loved her dogs Hope and Daisy.

Lisa is survived by her devoted mother, Betty Jean Lipsey, and a loving husband, Dennis Ivy. Her children, Misty Mixon and her husband Kary Jones, Amanda Fregia, Dylan Ivy, and Dennis Brown and his wife Victoria, will carry her memory in their hearts. She was a proud grandmother to Bryce, Brayden, Lanie, Cameron, MaKayla, Kayl, Lizzie, Quinterree, Paris, Aubrey, Jacob, and Hannah, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to Olivia, RJ, and Noah. Lisa is also remembered by her brothers, Mike Lipsey and wife Marlyne, and Cecil Lipsey, her sisters, Lori Loveall and husband Rick, and Lynn Kabella and Tim Morris. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly, along with her best friend, Monica McClain, whose friendship was a true gift.

Preceding Lisa in death was her father, Roy Weldon Lipsey and Son-In-Law, Michael Fregia.

Honoring Lisa as pallbearers are Dylan Ivy, Dennis Brown, Monica McClain, Chris Clark, Bobby Lechinger, and Mike Lipsey. Honor pallbearers are Brayden Fregia and Coltyn Lechinger.

In honoring Lisa’s vibrant life, she leaves us with memories filled with love, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in remembering her during the visitation at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas, on April 16, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on April 17, 2025, at 12 p.m., at Liberty Church of Christ in Liberty, Texas, followed by burial at Cooke Memorial at 1 p.m.

In the arms of her family, Lisa Elaine Ivy will eternally be remembered, her adventurous spirit living on in the hearts of those she loved most.
