The Dayton Chamber of Commerce recently made a donation to the Lee College Jazz Band through the Lee College Foundation.
The donation was made as a gesture of appreciation for the ensemble’s performance during the cocktail hour at the Chamber’s 25th Anniversary Gala & Awards Banquet.
Guests at the event were treated to a selection of jazz music performed by a three-piece jazz ensemble while enjoying appetizers and beverages prior to the evening’s main program.
The Dayton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to make the donation as a thank-you for the group’s time and the music provided at the gala.
Present at the check donation ceremony were Dayton Chamber Board Chair Sherri Schmidt of Texas Diamond Realty; Chamber Board Treasurer Jimmie Cullars, owner of Bear Plumbing; Sean Stockard, Dayton Chamber president and CEO; Selah Tacconi, Chief Advancement Officer and Executive Director of the Lee College Foundation; and Lauren Heffernen, Director of Advancement and Donor Relations at Lee College.
