Gary Wayne Thompson, 56, passed away on April 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born to parents Wayne A Thompson and Linda Sue Vickery Thompson in Cleveland, Texas on March 21, 1969.
Gary is survived by his parents, Wayne and Linda Thompson; son, Curtis Yates and wife Kalyn; daughters, Kristen Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez; sister, Tami Hollie and husband Duwayne; grandchildren, Case, Hazel, Jenna, Daxton, Demi; nephew, Chris Lawler; niece, Meghan Gregory.
A visitation for Gary will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 1-2 p.m. at the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas, with Reverend Dennis Martin and Reverend Jerry Lambert officiating. Gary will be laid to rest at Wells Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. Those chosen to serve as pallbearers are Troy Wayne Jordan, Wayne Trevathan, Archie Jones, Chris Lawler, Curtis Yates, Ricky Adkison; honorary pallbearer is Duwayne Hollie.
