Carolyn Joyce Antley Hartwick, 68, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her residence.
Carolyn was born December 1, 1956, in Crockett, to parents; Nolan and Norma Manor Antley, a former resident of Seabrook, and has resided in Dayton for the past 27 years. She was a graduate of Smiley High School, attended Angelina and Alvin College, and was a nurse with many healthcare entities. Carolyn also enjoyed fishing, cooking figs, and crocheting.
Mrs. Hartwick was preceded in death by her mother: Norma Manor Antley, sister: Pamela Antley Howard, and brother-in-law: Chuck Burgess. She Is survived by her husband of 37 years: George Hartwick, daughter: Danette Sides Phaff and husband Mike, son: Thomas Sides and wife Sadara, father: Nolan Antley, sister: Darlene Burgess, brother: Nolan Antley, Jr. and wife Mandy, grandchildren: Amber Sides, Logan Thomas Sides, Allyson Smith, Robert Evans, III, Destiny Evans, and Dustin Evans, great-grandchildren: Destiny, Kayden, Kenzlei, Kehlani, Dustin, RJ, Victoria, Claire, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
