Vivian May Pickett

On May 5, 2025, Vivian May Pickett passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family. Vivian was born to parents Luther Winslow and Vivian Hall Winslow on Dec. 18, 1946, in Pinehurst, Texas.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Pickett Sr.; parents, Luther and Vivian Winslow; daughter, Paula Johnson; brother, Tommy Winslow, Walter Winslow, Luther Winslow; grandsons, Arnold Coker and Fernando Banegas.

She is survived by a large and loving family, including her sons, Wayne Pickett Jr. and wife Tasha, Judson Pickett, Dewey Brown and wife Jennifer; daughters, Teresa Banegas, Dawn Brown; grandchildren, Vivian Peterson and husband Isaac, Alyx Conner Pickett, Taylor Lynn Pickett, Brayson Wesley Pickett, Eve Brown, Shawn Brown, Brandon Brown, Onelia Santos and husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, Leshay Johnson and husband Jarred, Alexus Wilredge and husband Adrean, Daniel Poole, Jazmine Coker, Donella Coker, Cameron Palmer, Liam Santos, Roger Santos, Ean Santos; great-great-grandchildren, Saeeda Fox, Arya Cleveland, Kyrah Cleveland, Legacy Cleveland.

A visitation for Vivian will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, in the Pace-Stancil Chapel in Cleveland, Texas. Vivian will be laid to rest at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers for the service will be Wayne Pickett, Judson Pickett, Jarred Norris, Isaac Peterson, Daniel Poole, Adrean Cleveland.
