Audio/Visual students at Dayton High School recently took on the challenge of the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) certification exam in Broadcasting/Journalism. This industry-recognized certification signifies that students who pass are officially considered “Job Ready.”

In addition to earning certification, students whose scores met NOCTI’s criteria received letters that may be submitted to colleges for evaluation toward potential college credit. While the awarding of credit is at each college’s discretion, the achievement itself is a significant milestone worth celebrating.

Dayton ISD is proud to announce that six students qualified for possible college credit through this exam. Congratulations to these hardworking students for their dedication and success!
