Stellar Bank hosting snack and beverage drive for Dayton VFD through May 30

Stellar Bank is showing its appreciation for local heroes by hosting a snack and beverage drive to support the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department (DVFD). The drive runs from May 19 through May 30, and donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at Stellar Bank’s Dayton Banking Center, 501 N. Cleveland St., Dayton, Texas.

The DVFD serves approximately 20,000 residents across 144 square miles, providing vital emergency response services to Dayton’s residential, agricultural, and industrial areas. Composed of dedicated volunteers, the department relies heavily on community support to stay mission-ready.

This drive aims to help keep the department’s firefighters hydrated and nourished during long shifts and emergency responses during the brutal summer months. Community members are encouraged to donate single-serve, shelf-stable snacks and hydration products from the following list:

  • Liquid IV or electrolyte drink mix
  • Gatorade or Powerade
  • Peanut butter or cheese crackers
  • Granola or protein bars
  • Trail mix
  • Beef or turkey jerky
  • Slim Jims
  • Mixed nuts or single-serve nut packs
  • Single-serve chips, popcorn, or cookies

For more information about how to support the drive, contact Stellar Bank’s Dayton Banking Center directly or stop by during banking hours. Bank staff will be happy to help you unload the items from your vehicle.
