The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has released new details regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred late Friday night, May 30, 2025, in South Montgomery County. The suspect has been identified as 53-year-old Casey Guillory of Sugar Land, Texas. Guillory is currently hospitalized in stable condition while receiving treatment for multiple gunshot wounds sustained during the incident.

The situation unfolded around 11:40 p.m. when deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white late-model Jaguar. During the stop, Guillory fled the scene, prompting a vehicle pursuit. A second deputy, along with troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, joined the pursuit.

Guillory has been charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Authorities have indicated that additional charges may follow as the investigation progresses.

The incident remains under active investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, MCSO Crime Scene investigators, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Rangers. Once complete, the case will be presented to a Montgomery County Grand Jury.
