Susan Loranne Cowart

Susan Loranne Cowart was born Nov. 25, 1966 in Colquitt, Ga., to parents, Charlie Miller and Mildred Hansley Miller. She passed away June 15, 2025, in Liberty, Texas, at the age of 58. Susan was a teacher for over 20 years and she loved her students as much as they loved her. She left teaching to take care of her husband Stanley. Susan loved her family and devoted countless hours caring for them. 

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mildred Miller; husband, Stanley Cowart. She is survived by her beloved children, Ashley Sammon, Jamie Cowart, and Michael Cowart and wife Katherine; grandchildren, Jase Hunt, Hadley Hunt, Zack Jaye Jr, Kailynn Jaye, Mia Jaye, Michaela Cowart, Kayden Cowart, and Lucas Cowart. 

There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements handled under the trusted care of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
