Houston-Galveston Area Council Regional Transportation Plan 2050 Public Meeting

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is updating Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) 2050 and seeks public input. The RTP looks 20 years into the future to establish the framework for a balanced and forward-thinking transportation system that will accurately serve the growing 13 county, Houston-Galveston region. Within the plan are identified major investment strategies supporting traditional modes of travel, such as roadway improvements, and alternative modes, such as mass transit, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

Members of the public are invited to attend a public meeting being held on July 10, 2025 where they can learn more about the plan and provide feedback on their transportation needs and priorities.
