Barbara Mae Bamberg

Barbara Mae Bamberg was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Parsons, Kansas, to parents, Carl Raymond Schultz and Pauline Weber Schultz. She entered Heavens Gates on July 1, 2025, at the age of 83 years. 

Barbara enjoyed her job at the Johnson Space Center where she worked for 23 years. Her job was an Administrator and would arrange meeting and appearances for all the astronauts. Barbara had a love for people, especially her family. She loved when they were around her for all the holidays. She will be greatly missed by her family at the Johnson Space Center, her family, and everyone that loved her. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Raymond Schultz and; one brother and one sister. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Frederick Bamberg; beloved sons, Johannes W. Naaykens Jr and fiancée Leigh Corless, and Bruce Stephen Naaykens and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Johannes W. Naaykens III, Brandi Pratt, Jennifer Lynn Naaykens, Nathaniel F. Naaykens, and Elizabeth A. Naaykens; great-grandson, Westyn Pratt.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 9-10 a.m., in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 10am with John Davidhizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens Cemetery.
