Hardin HS holding ‘Fish Camp’ for incoming freshman on Aug. 1

Hardin High School Student Council is bringing back a campus tradition to welcome the Class of 2029.

Fish Camp will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hardin High School. The event is designed to help rising ninth-grade students transition into high school by introducing them to school expectations, campus life, and opportunities to get involved.

During the two-hour event, students will:

  • Review school rules and the dress code
  • Learn how to participate in clubs, sports, and student activities
  • Build school spirit and connect with classmates

Participation is open to all incoming freshmen for the 2025–26 school year. The event features a beach-themed atmosphere, and students are encouraged to bring a positive attitude and school spirit.
