Glendon Doyle Young

Glendon Doyle Young was born Dec. 4, 1953, in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Homer Young and Rosie Mosley Young. Glen passed away July 10, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 71 years. Glen was a machinist and millwright, and could build anything with his hands. The joy of his life was the love that he had for his family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Rosie Young; siblings, Elmer Young, Hubert Young, Vaudine Galvan, Johnny Wayne Young, Barbara Lindsey, Ruby Kadlecek, and Molly Fields. Glen is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Rita Ann Young; beloved children, Amy Young, Damon Young, and Jeremy Young; grandson, Matthew Young; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Morgan Cemetery with Barry Welch officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be, Jeremy Young, Matthew Young, James Vickers, Cloyce Nelson, Jason Ritnour, and Dillon Vickers.
