Michael Shane Tinsley, 54, of Covington, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his residence.
Michael was born on December 7, 1970, in Houston, to parents, John Wayne and Jimmye Bunch Tinsley. He was a graduate of Dayton High School and a superintendent for Trumbo, Inc. Michael also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Tinsley was preceded in death by his father: John Wayne Tinsley. He is survived by his wife of 36 years: Christine Sumpter Tinsley, son: Michael Hayden Tinsley and wife Millie, daughter: Michaela Anne Cooley and husband Jacob, mother: Jimmye Beth Bunch Tinsley, sisters: Rhonda Byrd, Susan Hemmenway, and Alicia Empson, grandchildren: Corinna Tinsley and Ryance Cooley, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will greet friends from 9:30 to 10 a.m., with funeral services at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
