Kids Adventure Clubhouse opens in Cleveland, celebrates with ribbon cutting ceremony

David and Denique Johnson officially cut the ribbon to open Kids Adventure Clubhouse, marking its exciting debut in Cleveland.

A new family-friendly destination has officially opened its doors in Cleveland. Kids Adventure Clubhouse, a vibrant indoor play area designed for children and parents to enjoy activities together, celebrated its ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, July 28, marking its membership in the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce.

Owned by husband and wife team David and Denique Johnson, Kids Adventure Clubhouse is located at 400 Belcher St., Suite 6, just east of I-69. With a shared passion for children’s enrichment and family fun, the Johnsons have brought to life a vision five years in the making.

Denique Johnson brings over a decade of experience working in children-centered businesses, including operating a home-based daycare. David Johnson’s background in construction complements the venture’s hands-on approach. Previously, the couple ran a party rental business offering tables, chairs, and giant toys for children’s events, giving them insight into what families and kids enjoy.

The Kids Adventure Clubhouse features a large playroom filled with imaginative activity centers along one side. Children can explore a workshop stocked with safe tools, a beauty salon, a kitty clinic, a grocery store, a gym, and more — all designed to encourage play, learning, and exploration in a safe, controlled environment.

In addition to daily play sessions, the Clubhouse plans to host birthday parties and family-centered events. Private party rooms are available, granting exclusive access to the entire play area for the duration of the event.

“We know there are homeschool and parent groups that would enjoy bringing their children here to play,” said Denique.

“We also want to be a hub where families can meet and socialize within themselves,” added David.

Kids Adventure Clubhouse welcomes children ages 3 and older for $14 per two-hour session. Admission is free for children 2 and under. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It is closed on Sundays.

It is important to note that Kids Adventure Clubhouse is not a drop-off daycare. Parents must stay with their children during visits and are encouraged to engage in play, though they may relax nearby watching TV.
