Eric Donjuan

Eric Donjuan, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 28. Born on Nov. 20, 1996, in Livingston, Texas. Eric was known for his kind heart and the deep love he held for his family and friends. He leaves behind a profound legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved parents, Rene Donjuan and Sabina Donjuan, who instilled in him the values of love and commitment. Eric was a devoted father to his sons, Jacob Donjuan and Benjamin Donjuan, along with their mother, Maite Espinoza. The bond he shared with his children was irreplaceable, and his commitment to them was unmatched. Eric was further blessed with a supportive brother, Edgar Donjuan, and a loving sister, Gabriela Donjuan and husband Juan Arellano. He was an adoring uncle to his nephews, Eli Donjuan and Lucas Donjuan, along with their mother, Elizabeth Alegria, as well as Aaron Arellano and Carlos Arellano, and his niece, Aaliyah Arellano. In addition, Eric’s life was enriched by many other loving family members and countless treasured friends.

Eric’s interests were as vibrant as he was. He found joy in fishing, expressing himself through artwork, particularly graffiti, and enjoyed his time playing sports in his younger years, whether it was on the baseball field or the football field. Music was a significant part of his life, with a special fondness for Mexican music that resonated with his soul.

Beyond his hobbies, Eric was a faithful servant of the Lord, embodying a spirit of grace and devotion that touched all around him. As he embarks on this new journey, Eric leaves behind memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who loved him.

Eric is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eduardo Torres, and paternal grandfather, Delfino Donjuan. Their spirits will surely welcome him into a peaceful resting place.

Visitation will take place on August 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas. A Mass will be held the following day, August 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cleveland, where family and friends will come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Eric Donjuan.
