William Bryan Ericson, Sr.

William Bryan Ericson, Sr. (Bill) passed away peacefully on Aug. 16, 2025, surrounded by his children Bryan and Cindi Ericson. He was born on Dec. 12, 1944, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to parents Marvin and Elizabeth Ericson of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Bill grew up in Corpus Christi where he enjoyed fishing and boating across Corpus Christi Bay, which was just outside the front door of his childhood home on Ocean Drive, with his brother John. Bill graduated from WB Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Economics from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas. He later received a Masters of Education Degree from The University of Houston.

Bill enjoyed fishing, sailing, travelling, reading, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father John Marvin Ericson (Marvin), his mother Elizabeth Barber Ericson, his brother John Ericson, his brother Robert Ericson (Bob), and his sister Elaine Ericson. He is survived by his son William Bryan Ericson, Jr (Bryan); his daughter Cynthia Denise Ericson (Cindi); granddaughter Ryan Trinity Ericson (Trinity); and sister Janet Wilkerson.

Friends and family will gather at the First Concord Baptist Church in Cleveland, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 beginning at 10 a.m. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
