Clifford Michael Denby

Clifford Michael Denby, known to everyone as Mike, passed away Sept. 6, 2025, at 6:48 p.m. He was born on April 5, 1972, in Center, Texas, and lived his life with a strong and unwavering faith in Jesus.

Mike leaves behind his loving wife, Heather Martin-Denby, and his mother, Joyce Marie Sutton-Denby. He will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Evans and his wife Leigh-Ann Evans, and Bradley Denby; and his sister, Sherry Sanders.

A dedicated and loving father, Mike is survived by his children: Austin Denby and his wife Jessica Denby; Ashlee Denby and her spouse Devin Paynkewicz; and Jonathan Holifield and his wife Stormy Borg. Two Step daughters, Mandin Krueger, and Madison Martin. His legacy continues through his eleven grandchildren, Mattison Denby, McKenna Denby, Wyatt Denby, Braxton Paynkewicz, Sabashtion Santana, Christion Santana, Dixie Holifield, Paisley Acosta, Kian Smith, Isla Smith, and Christian Smith.

He is also remembered by his niece and nephews, Skyla Sanders, Steven Street, and Kenneth Evans Jr. Mike’s love for his family and his strong faith were the cornerstones of his life. He will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A visitation in honor of Mike’s memory will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 S. Washington Ave. Cleveland, Texas. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Texas, at 2:30 p.m. 

All services are being handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
