Helene Elizabeth Sangster

Helene Elizabeth Sangster was born Oct. 16, 1938, in Ponder, Texas, to parents, Lester Cullum and Clara Taylor Cullum. She passed away in Conroe, Texas on Sept. 14, 2025, at the age of 86. 

Helene was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Clara Cullum; husband, Rayburn Leroy Sangster; brothers, Jerry Cullum, David Cullum, and Sammy Cullum; sister, Corita Moody; grandson, Branden Sangster. She is survived by her beloved children, Elisha Bramblett, Linda McIntosh, Jerri Parsutt, and Gary Sangster; sisters, Martha Burrell and Linda Spiers; grandchildren, Stephen Youngblood, Jennifer Youngblood, Colton Youngblood, Adrian Sangster, Brenten Wise, Tyler Winer, Chelsea Parsutt, Kourtney Parsutt, Heather Sangster, and Jason Phillips; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring, Texas on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 2-3 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 3 p.m. with Dale Everitt officiating. Burial is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Houston National Cemetery at 11 a.m.
