A Liberty woman has been arrested following a joint narcotics investigation conducted by the Liberty County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office and the Liberty Police Department.
According to investigators, the case began several months ago after reports surfaced that Shonda Fay Tullous was allegedly selling methamphetamine from a residence in the 100 block of CR 158 in Liberty.
As the investigation progressed, quantities of methamphetamine were seized, and sufficient evidence was gathered to obtain an arrest warrant. Liberty County Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Larry Wilburn issued the felony warrant for Tullous’ arrest.
Investigators also coordinated with the Dayton office of the Texas Pardon and Paroles Division, which issued a separate warrant for Tullous in connection with parole violations.
On Monday, Sept. 29, Tullous was taken into custody by the Dayton Police Department at the Dayton Pardon and Parole Office on the parole warrant. She was booked into the Liberty County Jail. Two days later, on Oct. 1, Pct. 4 investigators served her with the felony arrest warrant issued by Judge Wilburn.
Tullous was charged with delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, in an amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.

Thank you Constable Robby Thornton and your division. Wish other divisions and departments were as diligent as you.
Why do these cases take SEVERAL min to investigate before an arrest is made?
Hey something isn’t right here. If its 4 to 200 its not a first degree felony.
