
Maryland Meaux Guidry, 82, of Devers, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, in Humble.
Maryland was born June 28, 1943, in Abbeville, La., to parents; Odey and Virgie Broussard Meaux, a former resident of Pasadena, and has resided in Devers for the past 26 years. She was a graduate of Kaplan High School, a former customer service representative for Southwestern Bell/AT&T and retired as a cattle rancher. Maryland enjoyed her ranching, taking care of her livestock, and volunteering for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Drive, the American Cancer Society, and The Immaculate Conception Church in Liberty.
Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Alvin Guidry. She is survived by her son: Derek LeBlanc and wife Wendi, stepsons: Dr. Jon Guidry and wife Rose and Scott Guidry and husband David Antman, stepdaughter: Debbie Cheesman and husband Michael, grandchildren: Dax LeBlanc, Gage LeBlanc, Jonathan Guidry, Ethan Guidry, Jacob Salois, Lauren Salois, Carter Pembridge and Hayden Pembridge, numerous other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at the Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty.
The family would like to say thank you to the Rosemont Memory Care Unit and their staff for the exceptional care she received these past few months.
