James Eligie Crumpton

James Eligie Crumpton, 86, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Oct. 23, 2025. He was born Dec. 29, 1938, in Wetampka, Ala., to his parents, Moses Monroe Crumpton and Annie Pearl Crumpton whom precede him in death along with his wife, Rochelle Crumpton, brothers, Harold Crumpton, Fred Crumpton, and Jack Crumpton, sister, Pearlie Silcox.

James is survived by his children, Gary Lynn Crumpton, James Keith Crumpton and his wife, Dale, Pamela Williams and her husband, Byron, grandchildren, Gary Crumpton and his wife, Tracy, Donald Ray Moore and his wife, Tiffany, Joshua Crumpton, Zachary Crumpton, Shawna Holt and her husband, Matthew, Ashlei Morris and her husband, Braden, Amanda Williams and Shane, Autumn Chapman and her husband, Brent, brother, William Crumpton, sister, Elizabeth Kenard. Numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home 303 E. Crockett St. Cleveland, Texas 77327. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at High Point Fellowship 12308 US-59 Business Splendora, Texas 77372 with Bro. Walter Kahler officiating. The interment will follow at Montague Cemetery. Pallbearers, Landon Crumpton, Hagan Crumpton, Gavin Crumpton, Brayden Crumpton, Wyatt Broadright, Teaguen Rodriguez, Cade Chapman, and Chase Pell.
