Thomas Lee “Tom” Sharp

Thomas Lee “Tom” Sharp, 79, of Liberty, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, in Liberty.

Tom was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Enville, Tenn.,, to parents; Russell Lee and Wilma R. Cash Sharp, a former resident of La Marque, and has resided in Liberty for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of Texas City High School and a retired concrete contractor. Tom also enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing his yard, and watching football.

Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Faye Howell and Debra Sharp. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Frances Marie Cartyer Sharp, children: Rick Sharp and wife Melissa, Tammy Sharp and companion Ronald, and Danny Sharp and wife Wendy, siblings: Jerry Sharp and wife Cynthia, Betty Cox, and Kay Orand, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
