Sylvia Ann Tristan

Sylvia Ann Tristan, 56, of Hardin, Texas, passed away on Nov. 28, 2025. She was born on Sept. 25, 1969, in Refugio to Inderso and Estella Silvas.

Sylvia married the love of her life, Hilario “Lalo” Tristan III, and together they shared 35 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially her sticker book and working on puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inderso and Estella Silvas; sisters Virginia and Nilda Andrade; brother Richard Silvas; and sister-in-law Deborah Silvas.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Hilario (Lalo) Tristan III; her son Hilario Tristan IIII and his wife Makayla Baird; daughters Brittany Tristan and husband Jeremiah Byrns, Hillary Pitts and husband Dale Pitts. She is also survived by her sisters Janie Barraza, Delma Valdez, and Rachel Andrade; brother Lloyd Silvas; and her beloved grandchildren Brennyn Pitts, Macie Tristan, Zac Byrns, Grayson Pitts, and Jensen Pitts.

Sylvia will be remembered for her warm heart, love for family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
