Stefanie Green, 55, of Beach City, Texas, passed away on Dec. 10, 2025. She had made Beach City her home for the past 12 years, after spending most of her earlier life in Dayton, Texas.
Stefanie was born on Jan. 27, 1970, in Houston, Texas. Stefanie grew up in the North Shore community and graduated from North Shore High School, Class of 1988. During her time there, she was a dedicated member of the varsity softball team, where she shined as both a pitcher and second baseman. It was also during those years that she met and later married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Darrell Green on November 26,1988.
In 2019, Stefanie proudly founded her small business, 37 & Co, where she expressed her creativity through handmade home décor and wooden signs. Her work brought beauty into people’s homes and friendships into her life—connections she cherished deeply.
Outside of her business, Stefanie loved spending time with her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Gigi.” Being a Gigi was her greatest joy and most treasured accomplishment. She also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing trips, and the occasional visit to the casino, where her vibrant and fun-loving spirit always showed.
Stefanie had the biggest heart and was the best mother, wife, Gigi, sister, daughter, and friend. Her warmth, generosity, and love will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Darrell Green; daughters Ashley May and husband Kelly May, Erica Bowman and significant other Avery Carruthers; son Justin Green and wife Ashly Green; and her beloved grandchildren Gavin and Olivia Gilbert, Cayson and Kohen May, and Baylee and Waylon Green. She is also survived by her mother Linda Martin; sister Tammy Martin; brother Kenny Martin and wife Kristin; mother-in-law Jan Faulkner; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Stefanie is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Martin and grandparents Florine Huff and Chester Martin, and Francis and Leonard Martin.
Stefanie leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
