Jeanette Marie Warren

Jeanette Marie Warren, age 85, passed away peacefully on Dec. 14, 2025. She was born on Aug. 30, 1940, in Houston, Texas, to Chester and Gertrude Barr.

Jeanette was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by love, generosity, and faith. She had a remarkable gift for hospitality, always opening both her home and her heart to anyone in need. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and connection—filled with the warmth of her presence and the joy of her incredible home-cooked meals that brought family and friends together time and time again.

Through her actions, she taught those around her how to love deeply and care for others generously. Her faith guided her life and was a constant source of strength and peace, not only for her, but for all who knew her.

While words cannot express how deeply Jeanette will be missed, her family is profoundly grateful for the life she lived and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit lives on in our hearts, in our family traditions, and in the treasured memories we hold dear. She will always be our mom, and she will always be loved. Our hearts find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

  1. I worked with Mrs. Warren at Splendora ISD in the mid 1990’s. She once told a humorous story at a coworker’s baby shower related to her own birth. We each were tasked to write something about ourselves and others had to guess who we were. She wrote that she was born in a bedpan which could have caused her to have a (insert expletive) outlook on life! I laughed so hard I cried! I am glad I knew her. She was one of a kind. – Carole Walters
