Sara Sue Moren

Sara Sue Moren was born in Houston, Texas on Jan. 18, 1948 to parents, Thomas Jackson Bruce and Betty Levera Rockenbauch Bruce. She passed away in Conroe, Texas, on Dec. 12, 2025, at the age of 77.

Sara was a wonderful wife and mother to her children and provided them with a warm and loving home. She enjoyed all the fun and loving memories of the family household and couldn’t wait until they would come and see her. Sara will be greatly missed by her family and by everyone that loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Jackson Bruce and Betty Bruce; beloved husband, James Moren. Sara is survived by her beloved children, Peggy Vargo and husband William, Thomas Moren and Kristel Plander, and Bruce Moren; sister, Nora Bruce; grandchildren, Ryan Cox and wife Lavonn, Marisa Moren, Keri Chiles, and Cody Vargo; great-grandchild, Piper Cox. 

Visitation will be in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 12 p.m. with Bro. Charlie Lombardino officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, William Vargo, Thomas Moren, Justin Tibbetts, Ryan Cox, Bruce Moren, and Braeden Walker.
