James LeDoux, Sr.

James LeDoux, Sr., 67, of Devers, passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by family.

James was born Feb. 18, 1958, in West Lake, Louisiana, to parents; Emery Lee and Rose Anna Thibodeaux LeDoux, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Devers since 1982. He was a millwright for Haltermann Dow and was a jack of all trades but master of none. James also enjoyed fishing and bowling.

Mr. LeDoux was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Abigail Guillot, and brother: Wayne LeDoux. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Sheila Theriot LeDoux, daughter: Ellen Tucker, son: James Ledoux, Jr. and wife Heather, sister: Lena Melancon, brother: Jason Manuel, grandchildren: Britni Oyler and husband Stephen, Dalton Tucker, Clayton Tucker, Kody Tucker and wife Victoria, Seth Gartner and wife Bridgette, Michelle LeDoux, Nicole Ledoux, and Amber LeDoux, eight great-grandchildren with one on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
