Rebecca Denise O’Boyle was born on Nov. 15, 1958, in Pasadena, Texas, and entered into rest on Feb. 1, 2026, in Splendora, Texas. She was a woman of strength, compassion, and deep devotion to her family, whose life reflected purpose, care for others, and quiet faith.

Rebecca was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She shared a loving and supportive partnership with her husband, Paul David Allen, with whom she built a life grounded in commitment and shared memories. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children: Tracy O’Boyle and wife Danielle, Patrick O’Boyle and wife Jane, and Stefanny Truell and husband Justin. Her children were her greatest joy, and she remained actively involved in their lives, always offering guidance, encouragement, and steadfast love.

She cherished her grandchildren, Katelyn,Max and Elaina and took great pride in being a great-grandmother to Ambrose. Rebecca also found comfort and companionship in her beloved puppy, Fancy. She is survived by her mother, Grunada Childs, and her brothers, Terry Childs and David Childs, who will always hold her memory close.

Rebecca was a God-fearing woman who held a deep love and reverence for her God, Jehovah. Her faith guided the way she lived, cared for her family, and faced life’s challenges with strength and dignity. She found peace and direction through her relationship with Him, and her life reflected those values in quiet but meaningful ways.

Known for her strong will and determination, Rebecca had a way of keeping things moving and ensuring those around her were cared for. She was dedicated to her family and took pride in managing her household with intention and purpose. Proverbs 31:27 captures this devotion well: “She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.”

Rebecca enjoyed cooking and bringing people together through shared meals. She appreciated music and embraced new experiences, even forming a band at one point in her life. She loved spending time at the beach and found creative fulfillment in making costume jewelry, a hobby she enjoyed sharing with others.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Bruce O’Boyle, and her father, Tracy Ross Childs. Rebecca leaves behind a legacy of faith, dedication, and love for her family. Her memory will continue to live on through those whose lives she shaped and cared for so deeply.
