Glenda Lee McAnally

Glenda Lee McAnally, a distinguished and beloved soul, was born on Oct. 8, 1941, in the quaint town of Sikeston, Missouri. She gracefully departed from this world on Feb. 11, 2026, in Cleveland, Texas, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories, achievements, and love that will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.

In her professional life, Glenda was a remarkable blend of creativity and analytical expertise, serving as both a retired beautician and a Certified Public Accountant. Her multifaceted career showcased her independence and talent, attributes that endeared her to many. Those fortunate enough to know her admired her classy demeanor, evidenced by the sparkle in her eye and her self-made spirit that shone brightly throughout her life.

Glenda’s profound love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Laddie McAnally, whose life she enriched with unwavering support and affection. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including their children: Lisa Neal, Kim Scott, and Kevin McAnally. The legacy of Glenda’s love continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Shantel Anderson, Colton Pope, Brooke McAnally, Gage McAnally, Remington Neal, Jade Andrews, Hudson Anderson, Logan Toth, and Clayton Roane, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit.

A faithful servant to the Lord, Glenda was actively involved in her church community at the Shepherd Family Worship Center, where her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Beyond her dedicated faith, Glenda had a passion for the outdoors, a love for horses and trail riding, and an appreciation for music. An avid reader and early riser, she was also a skilled seamstress in her younger years, demonstrating her talent and creativity in everything she undertook.

As her family and friends gather to celebrate her life, we remember Glenda not only for her many accomplishments but also for the richness of her character. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Marcelene Holder; her brothers Bob Jordan and Ricky Craddock; her sister Patty Craddock; and her grandson Justin Toth, each of whom she shall meet again in eternity.

Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, TX 77327, on Feb. 16, 2026, from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Her interment will immediately follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.

While Glenda Lee McAnally has departed from our sight, her spirit lives on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. She will be remembered as a beacon of light, guiding her loved ones with the wisdom she imparted and the love she enveloped them in. May she forever rest in peace, cherished in the hearts of many.
