Cleveland Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred late Thursday night on FM 787 east of Tarkington Bayou.
At approximately 11:17 p.m. Feb. 19, officers responded to a report of a rollover crash. Upon arrival, they found a blue 2007 Dodge truck in the southeastbound ditch with severe damage.
The vehicle had also struck a power pole, causing several residences east of the crash scene to lose electricity for several hours.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Logan Barrow, 24, of the Shepherd area. Barrow was pronounced dead at the scene by Liberty County Pct. 6 Justice of the Peace Ralph Fuller.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Cleveland Police Department expressed condolences to Barrow’s family during this difficult time.
