Dayton Whataburger to host Rockets-themed event Saturday, March 7

The Dayton Whataburger, located at 204 Highway 146 South in Dayton, will host a special Houston Rockets-themed event on Saturday, March 7, from 5 to 6 p.m.

The Rockets will bring a variety of inflatable games for guests to enjoy. Team mascot Clutch will be on site, along with Whataburger’s mascot, Whataguy. The Clutch City Dancers and the Launch Crew will also perform during the event.

Darwin Davis, a spokesperson for Burgerworks, which owns the Dayton, Cleveland and Liberty locations, along with others, says merchandise will be given away throughout the evening, including a grand prize of Whataburger for a year.

Of course, the spotlight won’t only be on the entertainment.

People are encouraged to go inside the restaurant and enjoy the great food for what Whataburger is best known, like made-to-order burgers served on five-inch buns, crispy fries, and fan favorites like the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit or Fajita Chicken Wrap.

Whether guests are craving a classic Whataburger with fresh toppings, a hearty Patty Melt, or a sweet shake to top it off, there will be plenty of options to enjoy during the festivities.

This is a free, family-friendly event. Guests are encouraged to show up slightly before the event starts.
