Kelly Elizabeth Marmon

Kelly Elizabeth Marmon was born Aug. 18, 1964, in Detroit, Mich., to parents, Denis Ellis and Dona Frost Ellis. She passed away in Cleveland, Texas, on Feb. 20, 2026, at the age of 61.

Kelly worked as an Administrative Supervisor for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where she made many friends along the way.

Her greatest joy in life was for her family. Kelly will be greatly missed by her family and all her co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denis and Dona Ellis; beloved son, Dennis Marmon Jr; brother, Denis Ellis Jr; sister, JoAnne Passa.

Kelly is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Dennis Marmon; beloved daughter, Jamie Frazier; brother, Jay Ellis; Melisa Harden and family; grandchildren, Shawn Cloud, Dylan Cloud, and Isabel Frazier; great-grandchildren, Jayce Malone and Emery Paige, who is on the way; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Evergreen Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Bro. Dalton Currie officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home following the memorial service. Any flowers that are purchased from any flower shop need to be delivered to church on Saturday, March 7, 2026, by 10 a.m.
