Splendora High senior shapes path to state art competition

Congratulations to Splendora High School senior Kimberly Day for becoming the first student in Splendora ISD history to advance to the Texas Art Education Association State VASE Competition.

Kim competed at the VASE Regional event on Saturday, Feb. 28, where she impressed judges with her stunning vase and earned a coveted spot at state. This spring, she will showcase her talent alongside the best high school artists from across Texas.

Splendora ISD officials said they are incredibly proud of Kimberly’s hard work, creativity and dedication in representing the district at the highest level.

Day is the daughter of Cleveland City Councilwoman Rachel Hall.
