Brenda Joy Besch

Brenda Joy Besch, a beloved mother, devoted Christian, and cherished friend, was born on May 22, 1950, in Dayton, Texas. She gracefully transitioned from this world on March 5, 2026, in Houston, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever resonate with those who knew her.

Brenda dedicated many years of her life to nurturing children through her own daycare, Children’s Castle, all with the wish to be close to her son, Brian Besch. Her extensive career spanned over three decades in the banking industry, where she was deeply appreciated by her colleagues and clients alike. Upon her retirement, Brenda discovered a new calling. For the last twelve years of her life, she served as a college administrator at Lone Star College in the Woodlands, Texas, where she became an invaluable support to the professors.

An enthusiastic cook, Brenda delighted her family with her cooking creations; her meals were not just food, but love served on a plate. In moments of leisure, she could be found cheering passionately for her beloved Texas A&M Aggies, showcasing her unwavering spirit for football. Their games brought her immense joy, while her love of fishing allowed her to connect with nature and find peace by the water.

Brenda’s personality shone brightly. She had a unique gift for making those around her feel cherished and adored. Her devotion to family and friends was unmatched, and she took great pleasure in spoiling her loved ones with affection and thoughtfulness. Brenda was a woman of deep faith, embodying her Christian values daily, serving as an inspiration to all who crossed her path.

Brenda was preceded in death by her cherished father, Max Edward Kliem, Jr.; her beloved mother, Corine Laferne Hunt; her husband of 17 years, Alfred Besch; her sister, Barbara Wallace; her mother-in-law, Margaret Besch; and sister-in-law, Linda Gruver. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

She leaves behind her devoted son, Brian Besch; her niece, Teresa Conner, and her husband, William; her nephews, Max Touchet and Derrick Mobley; and a host of loving extended family and close-knit friends who will forever hold her memory dear.

A memorial gathering will be held on March 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas, followed by a memorial service celebrating her remarkable life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Pastor Gideon Watson officiating. Brenda’s spirit will continue to shine through the love she shared, and her legacy will never be forgotten.
