Gerald Wayne Wells Sr.

Gerald Wayne Wells Sr. was born June 13, 1972, in Bellaire, Texas, to parents, John Edward Wells and Janice Marie Smith Wells. He passed away tragically on March 9, 2026, in Cleveland, Texas, at the age of 53.

Gerald had a love for life and he enjoyed the many years of playing the drums. His love led him to inspire and teach others to play as well. Gerald’s greatest love in life was for his family and he enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them.

Gerald was a beloved son, brother, daddy, and grandpa, and he will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Janice Marie Wells.

Gerald is survived by his beloved children, Gerald Wayne Wells Jr and wife Lorretta, Kayla Wells Lawless and husband Zach, and Faith Wells; fiancée, Lynette Castleman; beloved brother, John Edward Wells Jr and wife Tabitha; grandchildren, Everli Wells, Lovely Wells, Gavin Wells, Hayden Wells, and Blair Lawless.

Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026, in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Buffington officiating. Burial will follow in the Wells Family Cemetery in Clark, Texas.
