Russell Glen Daigle Sr.

Russell Glen Daigle Sr. of Tarkington, Texas, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on Feb. 10, 1953, to Mary Bernadine and Joseph Liness Daigle in Lafayette, Louisiana.

After leaving school, he immediately entered the workforce and, through years of dedication, hard work, and strong leadership, worked his way up to retire as Plant Manager for Agri-Tex.

He married Rhonda in 1979, and together they shared 47 years. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing and was known for his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. Often reminding everyone that “it’ll be all right”.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his children and their spouses, Rusty (Randi) Daigle and Jace (Felicia) Daigle; his brothers, sisters and their spouses, Jeanette (Al) Durman-Peña, Patsy (Gary) Gerngross, Helen (Tom) Alexander, Barry (Nita) Daigle, Donna (Paul) Roy, Lynette Daigle, Phyllis Daigle; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Roger Daigle; in-laws, Randy and Dot Alexander, great grandson, Kashton Wayne Daigle and friends, Bobby Johnson and Ronnie Bourlon. Visitation will be held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, on Wednesday, March 11, from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by a service at Homer Cemetery in Jasper, Texas on Thursday March 12, at 2 p.m.
