Frank William Fajkus, Jr.

Frank William Fajkus, Jr., 94 of Liberty, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, in Baytown.

Frank was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Halletsville, to parents; Frank W., Sr. and Annie Steffek Fajkus, and has resided in Liberty area since 1955. He attended Thompson School, was a veteran of the US Army with service during Korea, and a retired tool pusher for Parker Well Service and Cowboy tools. Frank was raised Catholic and later attended Hardin Baptist Church. He found enjoyment in fishing, gardening, dancing, buggy rides and playing solitaire, which he called “Sol”.

Mr. Fajkus was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Mona Ruth Huey Fajkus, and brothers: Marvin and Jerry Fajkus. He is survived by his one son: Tommy Fajkus and wife Carla, grandchildren: Brandy Goodwin and husband Chris, Jonathan Fajkus and wife Brooke, and Nathan Fajkus, great-grandchildren: Chelsey Korona and husband Joseph, Skylar Fajkus, and Farrah Fajkus, cousin: Sister Colette Kouba, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1p.m. to 2 p.m., with funeral services at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Hardin Baptist Church in Hardin with interment following at Jacob-Boothe Cemetery in Moss Hill.
