Liberty Municipal Library hosting exhibit of LISD student artwork

The Liberty Municipal Library is hosting an exhibit of Liberty ISD student artwork from March 9 through April 3.

The display features artwork submitted by Liberty ISD students to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Competition in January 2026. Out of many entries, 33 LISD students were selected to represent the district, including 10 elementary students, 10 middle school students and 13 high school students.

The exhibit includes pieces by students whose work was chosen for the competition. Two of the district’s top winners, Gold Medalist Rylee Shelton and Best of Show winner Teegan Davis, also have artwork on display at the Hayloft Gallery in Houston.

Residents are invited to visit the library to view the exhibit during regular hours.

Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
