
Marian Ester Bell Wright, 77, of Beaumont, Texas, passed March 02, 2026.
Services are Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Proctor’s Mortuary, 3522 Washington Blvd., Beaumont, Texas. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until Funeral at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Anthony Cemetery, Beaumont, Texas.
Marian Ester Bell “Mae Bell” Wright graced the world with her beautiful presence on Sept. 9, 1948, in Beaumont. Texas. She was born to the proud and loving parents, Mildred Jones and Henry Bell.
With a blessing of being raised in a loving faith-filled home, Mae Bell accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. She received her formal education from public schools in Beaumont, Texas, and graduated from Charlton Pollard High School.
Mae Bell lived her life to the fullest experiencing as much greatness as life had to offer being a mother to her sons Derrick and Kevin, one daughter Renicka, and her grandchildren, who were the highlights of her life.
She exemplified the love that God calls us to have for each other. She loved helping others, and it showed in her daily walk. She truly was a blessing to all of those around her.
In her leisure time, Mae Bell loved sharing her love of cooking and spending quality time with her family. She was a loving daughter, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, as well as a loving sister and friend.
Having lived a beautiful life, Mae Bell’s destiny here on earth has been fulfilled. God, in his infinite wisdom, called her home into his loving grace on March 2, 2026. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Jones, father Henry Bell, brother Charles Rogers Sr., and sister, Joyce Bell Thompson.
Left to cherish her sweet memories are her sons: Derrick Wright (Porsha), Kevin Wright (LaTarsha); one daughter: Renicka Wright; grandchildren: Quentin Davis Kenneth Corbin Sr., Keith Corbin III, Derrick Wright Jr, Ke’Adrain Corbin, Alexis Edison, Camry Wright; Sisters: Gwendolyn Jones, Carolyn Jones; and Sister in Law: Sylvia Rogers and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
