Harry (Randy) Randolph Grimes

Harry (Randy) Randolph Grimes, 81, passed away March 10, 2026. Born March 25, 1944, in Liberty, Texas, Randy was the son of Harry and Ella Grimes.

Raised in Dayton, Randy had a passion for learning and broadening his horizons through literature. He spent his childhood at the Rolke family farm, after which he found meaning in ranching and the enrichment of the cattle industry. He enjoyed riding horses, building community amongst his fellow ranchers, and spending time with family.

In his retirement, Randy passed his days watching old western movies with his pets, reading science fiction adventures, and entertaining theories about BigFoot.

Randy is survived by his partner, Joyce Roberson, his devoted daughter, Jeanna Bure m. Burt Bure, granddaughters, Brooke Bure-Sanchez m. Victor Sanchez, and Taylor Bure m. Joel Andrepont, as well as his great-grandson, Lucas Sanchez.

Randy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
